About Us
HOUR HISTORY
How We Started
The Mighty Little Warriors Foundation was born out of a very personal journey. At 28 weeks pregnant, we were told something might be wrong with our son. Our doctor left us with only an “I’m sorry” and a referral. For days, we felt lost, alone, and terrified, until a kind nurse finally picked up the phone and connected us to care. Later came the words “double bubble” and duodenal atresia, and the weeks of waiting that followed.
What saved us was finding online communities of parents who had walked this path before us. Their strength and stories gave us hope. That hope is what we want to give to other families.
Our mission is simple: to be a listening ear, to share resources, and to connect parents with communities that help them through the first months after diagnosis.
Our vision is to grow into a foundation that supports NICU parents with emotional care, resources, donated goods, meals, and community partnerships.
No parent should ever feel as alone as we once did.
